WASTE WATER PURIFICATION

The biological activated sludge purification plant for wastewater treatment allows water purification to almost complete, enabling the reuse of production water.

 

CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY

The company's machinery, capable of producing more than 1,000,000 kg per year, is constantly monitored for operation and consumption. The most recent renewal of the company's machinery has enabled water consumption to be reduced by 50% in the dyeing phases and energy consumption by 35%.

 

RENEWABLE ENERGY

The solar energy system on the company's roof was completely renovated in 2019 according to state-of-the-art performance and sustainability criteria. Since 2006, it has been reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, the positive effect of which since its installation is the planting of around 2,200 trees. Today it meets till 20% of the company's energy needs.

 

CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT

MIC's sensitivity to environmental issues and the values in which we believe have led us to address the risk of toxic and harmful chemicals in a systematic manner, integrating into our production cycles activities and controls aimed at gradually eliminating their presence, thanks to the implementation of the Chemical Management 4sustainability® protocol.
