I Bambini delle Fate – for social inclusion
MIC supporting the local area
I Bambini delle Fate is a social enterprise, active since 2005, dedicated to supporting social inclusion projects for families with autism and other disabilities, in collaboration with local partners and associations.
Founded by Franco Antonello, entrepreneur and father of Andrea, a young man with autism, the Foundation has so far engaged over 300 companies from the provinces of Treviso, Padua, Vicenza, Verona, Brescia, Bergamo, and Milan, helping to fund ten different projects across associations, organizations, and hospital facilities.
The Foundation’s focus is on creating networks of supporters who can accompany inclusion and autonomy projects over time, making a tangible difference in the daily lives of families facing the challenges of autism and disability.
PIU’ DI UN SOGNO
MIC Spa supports I Bambini delle Fate and, through it, the foundation Più di un Sogno, active in the province of Verona.
Più di un Sogno promotes solidarity, inclusion, and initiatives to improve the quality of life for families with children with intellectual disabilities and Down syndrome. The foundation carries out ongoing, coordinated projects aimed at developing cognitive skills, fostering social inclusion, and supporting the transition to adulthood, engaging civil society and embracing the belief that disability is a value for the community.
These spaces provide young people with vulnerabilities opportunities to grow and take on active roles in protected environments, while recognizing and nurturing each individual’s talents.
“Through our network, we engage entrepreneurs and companies in the region, whose regular and ongoing contributions ensure the realization of long-term social inclusion projects within their local communities.”
In 2025, the Più di un Sogno Foundation celebrated its 18th anniversary. Over these years, numerous initiatives have been carried out, among which the main project is T-Lab – Talents from the Land to the Table. This program includes three workshops (creative workshop, garden, and cooking) conducted in Zevio, in the province of Verona.
The products created by the participants range from sweets to flavored salts and even handcrafted favors.
“The overall goal is to integrate people into a real productive environment, not just a self-contained activity.”
We share the most recent publication highlighting the commitment of some Verona-based companies in supporting these initiatives.
Recently, MIC Spa has collaborated with the Foundation on the creation of the GENERAL COLOR CARDS. The young participants help by placing our 450 color swatches onto the cardboard sheets that make up the folder.
