INVERSE PLATING PANTS

Technology and materials in the service of design

THE TROUSERS OF THE VB + SSI + MIC COLLECTION

The 92nd edition of Pitti Immagine Filati was the occasion for the presentation of the Evolution Knit collection signed by Vittorio Branchizio, creative director of Shima Seiki Italia, at the stand of the Japanese company.

The 12 garments of the capsule collection exploit VB's material expertise and attention to experimentation, the precision and technology of Shima Seiki machines, and the technical characteristics of the different fibres used.

For the capsule, the 5 trousers that complete the outfits - where jackets, shirts and jumpers experiment with the use of the possibilities of Shima Seiki machines - have been produced using the same technique: Inverse Plating (IP).

The machine used for all, despite the different designs of each trouser, is the SVR 183 IP 14G - fineness 14, in an average production time of 185'00''.

The uniqueness of these trousers lies in the use of different colours and designs, according to a fast and efficient production, for which yarns of numerous colours are essential to recreate the desired graphic effects and above all yarns that "spin" correctly on the machine, without creating a hitch.

ELAN 10 is a common element in all these trousers: a textured polyester yarn, whose characteristics of fineness, volume, softness and resistance - together with the vast choice of colours, 450 stock service colours, combine with perfect running on Shima machines for the creation of Jacquard, Vanisé, Vanisé Inverted and many other productions.
