Global Organic Textile Standard
Manifattura Italiana Cucirini is certified according to the international standard GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standars, so that for the cotton yarns involved, the origin from organic cotton cultivations is guaranteed, for which the working, quality and environmental standards are periodically verified.
The GOTS standard, issued by ICEA, certifies the presence of natural fibres from organic cultivation, in the intermediate and finished products of the certified textile chain. GOTS checks that all the processes in the supply chain following the sowing of the cotton comply with the standards for the responsible use of water resources in cultivation, the exclusion of substances harmful to man and the environment throughout the supply chain and the verification of working conditions, which must respect human and workers' rights.
